About The Artist
I am a Green Bay, Wisconsin based artist and teacher. I love working with a variety of mediums and have found plaster to be one of my friends. I started creating body castings about 6 years ago. I love helping women preserve their beautiful forms in pregnancy, or as a way to cope with the loss of breast cancer, or just as a special gift for a husband on an anniversary. I accept commissions and have done murals both commercial and residential along with paintings, portraits, and custom plaster sculptures.
I show my work in the Brown and Door County area. My solo exhibits have been at The Flying Pig in Algoma, WI and in Charlene's Gallery 10 in Gills Rock. I grew up in Sturgeon Bay and still love getting up there to see all the beauty of the area.
My studio is called Curve Appeal Studio because I believe in the beauty of women and all of those beautiful curving shapes! You are a Goddess!
Thank you for visiting my site!
Teaching is also a passion of mine. It is such a great experience watching children and adults become more confident in their work, or return to something that they haven't done in awhile. I work in the GB Area Public Schools, UWGB Art Camps, and teach private lessons. I also teach the Arts Enrichment workshops for adults through UWGB. Check out their summer camps--they are amazing!!
